The first online webinar took place on January 22, 2022. Historian and Deputy Director of the “Erebuni” Historical & Archaeological Museum-Reserve Vahe Sargsyan presented new archaeological discoveries and facts about the history and culture of the Kingdom of Van and the major Urartian cities.

Over 100 teachers, experts, students, and people interested in Armenian studies, participated in the interactive and engaging discussion, asked questions, and made suggestions. “Thank you for the interesting and informative webinar, it would be good if the photos of the [recent] archeological findings were included in the Armenian history textbooks.”

“This initiative is very important, I thank all our colleagues and supporters, who in this difficult period, try to contribute to the challenging work of the development of Armenian culture and education,” said Karen Mnatsakanyan, Head of the Division of Diaspora at MօESCS.

AVC Founding President Dr. Yervant Zorian highlighted the importance of the webinars “The information you shared with us today is very important and should be widely disseminated. In this respect, you did very important work today by presenting the scientific material in a popular way. This is the goal of these webinars that we’re planning to continue in the upcoming months.”
