The courses at the Culture Department offer students an introduction into aspects of Armenian culture and the rich cultural heritage of Armenians in the historical homeland, as well as outside it.

Note:

1. All the courses in Armenian architecture and music are only available within the Asynchronous Self-Study Program.

2. Under AVC policy students are eligible to take one course from each department. 


Armenian architecture is considered to be a major component of the world culture with its monuments and the significant role it played in the development of world architecture.
The courses give students an overview of the history of Armenian architecture starting from the earliest Armenian architectural monuments and ending with modern times.
