“Discover Armenia” Visits Armenian Virtual College 08/13/2010
On August 13, 2010, the AGBU Armenian Virtual College hosted a group of 35 students from AGBU “Discover Armenia” project. The students visited the AVC premises with AGBU Diaspora Youth projects coordinator in Armenia Hermine Duzian. AVC Development Specialist Taline Djeghelian and Online Instructor Arpine Tavakalyan gave them a presentation about AVC and its courses communicating in Western Armenian, English and French languages. At the end of the meeting some of the students got very interested in the courses the college offers and asked for extra AVC brochures to distribute to their friends back at home. “Discover Armenia” has its significant place among the youth programs of Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU). Every year it brings 15-18-year-old Armenian Diasporan youth to spend an unforgettable vacation in Armenia.
