AVC Programs Introduced to Armenian Community in Dublin, Ireland 03/20/2015

On March 20, 2015, AVC Founder and President Dr. Yervant Zorian paid a visit to Dublin, Ireland, and met with the local Armenian community. In the public event that the community leaders had organized, Dr. Zorian gave a talk about AVC and its objectives, the concept of AVC, and the mission that helped create and operate the unique online educational institution in Armenian Studies.

The Armenians of Dublin were informed about various learning opportunities available at AVC—both for individual learners and schools/groups, including online courses in the Armenian language, history and culture, electronic books, webinars, virtual tours and social events.

The public lecture was very well received by the attendees: “The lecture was quite stimulating and thought provoking. All present were very impressed and touched by the talk about AVC activities,” said Dr. Paul Manook, the Head of the Armenian Parish Council in Ireland.

The community leaders were enthusiastic about organizing a hybrid learning program for community members. Dr. Aram Hakhumyan was appointed as the liaison with AVC to follow the implementation and coordination of this project with the community members.
