Overview

This lesson provides information about the Mongol campaigns to Armenia, hard conditions of people under the Mongol Empire rule, and the religious prosecutions of Armenians, as well as Leng Timur’s vast destructions in Armenia. The lesson also aims to familiarize students with Yerevan as a government center of Eastern Armenian and the move of Catholicos’ See to Echmiadzin.
