Russian-Armenian Slavonic University adopts AVC eLearning 04/17/2017

The partnership project with Russian-Armenian Slavonic University (RAU), intended for the academic year of 2016-2017 (September 2016 to June 2017), includes 16 students from RAU’s Departments of Management and International Relations. The students are successively taught three levels of AVC’s Eastern Armenian course through Russian: Beginners Eastern Armenian, Elementary Eastern Armenian and Pre-Intermediate Eastern Armenian.

To ensure the best learning results, AVC is utilizing its Hybrid Education Program so that the students will benefit both from online and onsite teaching methods.

As teaching material, AVC’s online courses are used and once a week the students also have the opportunity for a face-to-face meeting with AVC Education Program Coordinator Marina Khachaturyan.

The learning process is accompanied by AVC’s visual lectures and tours in order to educate and entertain the students about Armenia and its socio-cultural life. The visits to the Matenadaran were guided by Marina Khachaturyan and AVC Hybrid Education Program Coordinator Arpine Tavakalyan.

AVC’s collaboration with RAU, one of the leading institutions in the South Caucasus region, is only the beginning of the project, which has great potential to expand to the larger Russian-speaking audience of RAU.
