AGBU Boston Introduce NEHAS, Brand New Hybrid School

A brand-new school was launched by AGBU New England District in September. It addresses the gap in Armenian language education in the region. The school is called New England District Hybrid Armenian School (NEHAS), which adopted the new AVC Western Armenian language v 2.0 curriculum and methodology.


"Qayl Depi Tun” Diaspora Affairs Program Partner with AVC

For the past several years, AVC has partnered with the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs, welcoming the Qayl Depi Tun participants with a series of presentations about its educational programs and providing classes on Western Armenian, Armenian culture and history.
This year, more than 360 young Armenians from 25 countries attended AVC's introductory presentations. More than 150 of them expressed keen interest in AVC's programs and signed up to receive regular updates about new educational offerings and upcoming events. The leaders of the group from Belarus visited AVC to make a video report for the local Armenian community.  ...


Participants of AGBU Global Leadership Program 2021 Immerse in AVC Language Courses

AVC provided Western Armenian language classes, based on its new Version 2.0 curriculum, on a weekly basis throughout this year’s highly successful Global Leadership Program. In addition, AVC held two online cultural events for more than 60 participants of the program offering great virtual interactive experiences to uncover the wealth of their Armenian Heritage.

The ALZ "Tracing the Armenian Heritage" contest was successfully concluded on June 5, 2021, when the winners in three categories were announced. Students from Brazil, Argentina, the USA, Bulgaria, Italy, and Russia did an excellent job telling the stories of their communities in the most interesting, informative and creative way.

Pan-Armenian Online Education Community Continues to Host Armenian Educators

The online community of educators created during the Pan-Armenian Educational Forum (PAEF), in August 2020, currently unites more than 1,360 members from Armenia and the Diaspora registered on the AVC platform.

AGBU Montreal and Toronto Chapters Complete Another Successful Year with AVC e-Learning

On June 12, 2021, 30 students from AGBU Montreal Hayortyats Or Saturday school and 12 members of the AGBU Toronto chapter received certificates for successfully completing the new AVC's Western Armenian Language v 2.0 and Chess courses.
