Dr. Zorian Presents The AVC Project In Toronto
(December 4, 2008 )
On December 4, 2008 AGBU Toronto hosted Dr. Yervant Zorian, newly elected member of AGBU Central Board to present AGBU’s newly launched and highly anticipated Armenian Virtual College Project. The presentation took place in Alex Manoogian Cultural Centre, 930 Progress Avenue, Scarborough. Dr. Zorian introduced the participants with the project. He mentioned that the Virtual College project is an Internet-based distance learning program that aims to facilitate Armenian studies through new technologies.
“With the latest advances in the world of electronic education, the Armenian Virtual College will create a virtual learning community that can foster both the cultural education and social connections otherwise out of the reach of most students across the Diaspora” said Dr. Zorian.
